Tamils and me

Tamils have a very long history commencing from the Lemurian era. They always find a peculiar delight and prestige to boast of their antiquity wherever and whenever they find a chance. Never minding anyother who sneer within for the trumpeting , they used to boast. Being born to Tamil parents and lived many years in Tamil land I am expected and compelled to share the enforced delight and prestige. I feel guilty and sorry. I am unable to share them. My aloof feeling led me to read ancient Tamil classics. Kaniyan Poongunranaar an ancient Tamil poet wrote a beautiful peace in 'Purananooru'
Everyplace is a resident town
And each one is my relative...
And those words enlightened me to be expansive bettering me to acquire a distant horizon. The name 'Vaiyavan' is born from the Tamil word 'Vaiyagam'(The Universe) Yes, Kaniyan Poongunranaar guides me to be the man of the Universe. So the word Vaiyavan stands for the man ,he son of the Universe.
Much of the serious poetry of the ancient Tamils have the universal outloook. They decline to be narrowed down to a specific area. Hmmm.. it was a past feeling. But the present world is divided into lingual, racial, religious in a way tribal groups. Humanity became scared of expanse. It prefers narrowness. It opts for very small groups I wonder and cease to be narrowed down so. Let me expand as much as possible. From that urge this blog is born.
